Be very quiet
Episode 52 of 60
CGI animation series Great Britain, 2015/2017

Directed by Jack Jameson
Producer: DHX Media, Darrall Macqueen, Ingenious Film Partners, Ragdoll Productions, Machame Ltd., BBC, DHX Te
Screenplay: Andrew Davenport

Be very quiet
This time Tinky-Winky woke up much earlier than anyone else. He would like to play something. Driving a scooter would be great. But he doesn't want to wake up the other Teletubbies. However, when he tries to take Pos Roller, she almost wakes up. It's the same with Laa-Laa and her big ball and Dipsy with his hat. He finally begins to dance funny and loud on the roof of the Teletubby house. It makes sense that everyone wakes up!

Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po are back on German television. As in the series broadcast for the first time on the BBC in 1997, the Teletubbies move through an idyllic fantasy world dancing, singing and jubilating in the HD-produced new edition. The radiant baby face is still laughing like the sun from the sky, and Noo-Noo, the cheeky vacuum cleaner, is still a roommate and savior in need. The real films on the gray, rectangular screens that the Teletubbies carry in their stomach are shown in the new edition on modern touchscreens in 16: 9 format. Here children tell short stories about their experiences corresponding to the respective episode. Also new are the oversized Tubbyfon smartphone, the Tubby pudding ride, on which fresh pudding is produced, the Tubby lift that transports the Teletubbies, and the eight tiny CGI-animated Tiddlytubbies in a 3D look that experience adventures in miniature format.

Tinky Winky plays the air guitar on his beloved game bag - and he's not bad at all. But before more can happen, the film comes. In the single player, a man shows how a one-man band can play many instruments at once. The watching children are fascinated. No wonder the Teletubbies feel like doing a little pop serenade afterwards!

Make noises
The Teletubbies enjoy watching the children in the film who visit a farm and imitate all the noises they hear there - for example the "Mäh" from the little lamb. Then Po got a taste for it and makes a lot of strange and strange noises with the levers and buttons in the Teletubby house. When the others join in, they want to try it out right away. The tubbyphone dance follows, with lots of noises!

At first they are too slow, then too fast, then they cannot turn, lose the connection and ultimately get stuck in the tree. Now the only thing that helps is improvisation. Thanks to Daisy's jet backpack, the tinkerers can free their airship. You can now completely forget the victory. But they don't care. Professor Gimbal is in trouble and it is more important to have a saving idea on hand.

Spike, Daisy, Molly and Flex are real little tinkerers. Together with many other Doozers they live in the Doozertal, where they compete in many a competition, repair the work machines and always have to show a green thumb. Spike is the head of the group. He designs the work plans and supports the team with his extending arms. Flex is big and strong. He learns a lot about radishes and the harvest from his grandparents. With his stilt legs he always keeps an overview. Molly is very detail-oriented. She likes it when everything is perfect. Daisy is the chick on the team of inventors. With her small jet backpack she can do some work at lofty heights. Tinkering, tinkering, designing and creating are always the focus of the four Doozers, because no matter how difficult a task is, the Doozers "do, do, do it"!

The strongest sheep in the world
There was a thunderstorm, but the horse just doesn't manage to push the Möhrtorrad into the garage and Wolf laughs at him for it too. Well, you should have a strong friend ... for example the strongest sheep in the world! There must be some wool. They try to impress the wolf with stuffed muscles and cardboard dumbbells. Will that work ...?

The popular Sesame Street characters wool, the sheep and horse live in a large carrot house in a backyard in Hamburg. It's cozy and a bit chaotic there, because there is a lot going on with the two friends: sometimes the horse loses its favorite cuddly carrot and simply can't find it, sometimes the two argue about who belongs which things, sometimes they paint a picture and can they can't agree which picture is the most beautiful, sometimes the horse just wants to watch TV and wool really has trouble getting him to switch off. At the center of every comical and turbulent 12-minute episode is a topic that is directly linked to the world of the 3-7 year old viewer. Among other things, it is about fear of the dark, bad mood, secrets, promises, impatience and much more.In each episode, a short film shows what children think about the respective topic and what experiences they have already had with it. Further roles in "A Carrot for Two": Finchen, the snail from Sesame Street, as a postal snail, a somewhat scary green wolf and three rather crazy chickens. Of course, actors are also there: Wolke Hegenbarth plays Wolke, a good friend of wool and horses, who keeps reappearing in new situations and professions (sometimes she is a forester, sometimes a doctor, sometimes a museum attendant). Jan Hofer as the news anchor, Axel Prahl as the captain, Peter Lohmeyer as the firefighter, Steffen Henssler as the cook and Herbert Feuerstein as the crazy inventor were in front of the camera for other episode roles. The film was shot in Atelier A2 at Studio Hamburg and at original locations in Hamburg. In almost every episode, the two heroes leave their carrot house and explore the real world. The locations include the ship "Cap San Diego", the Hamburg planetarium, the Hamburg art gallery, a hairdresser, a large department store and many more. In addition, horse and wool have a somewhat unusual roommate in their carrot house: Günni, a speaking and rather cocky toilet that sometimes helps the two ungulates. With the new series, which the directors Jojo Wolff and Dirk Nabersberg put in scene, the two characters wool and horse from "Sesame Street" get even more space to develop, namely a real leading role. 2nd season: wool, the sheep and horse are back! 26 new episodes of "Sesame Street Presents: A Carrot for Two" are available from October 19, 2011 in the KI.KA. to see. The dolls are supported by the actress Friederike Linke, who is a good friend of wool and horses. Other prominent guest roles include: Sky du Mont as the strict head waiter, Oliver Kalkofe as the heavyweight nutritionist, Hans Peter Korff as the resourceful workshop owner, Guildo Horn as the resourceful garbage collector and Axel Prahl as the lonely lighthouse keeper. Also playing with: Finchen, the snail from Sesame Street, as a postal snail, a somewhat scary green wolf, a few pigs and of course Günni, the babbling but lovable toilet made from the carrot.

Info: was shot from May 10th to June 15th 2010 in Studio Hamburg (1st season)

Chinese for beginners
The finest carrot juice is what wool and horse are hoping for from their new "Möhri 5000" juicer. Unfortunately the thing doesn't work and the instructions for use are in Chinese. In search of a Chinese man who can help you with the translation you end up in a real tea house. There they learn to eat with chopsticks and try tai chi - but what happens to their juicing problem?

In the bustling forest, the little bird girl Becca and her gang picks out every adventure, no matter how unusual. Undaunted and always confident, she calls her friends Emil Eichhörnchen, Pedro and Sylvie for gang counseling and bravely rushes forward! Often the adventure becomes a size too big and luckily Becca's friends are there: Emil, the unshakable one, thinks everything is "nutty and crunchy" and is always hungry for nut variations. Pedro, the clever worm, realizes very quickly, "The worm is in there!" And always finds it better to be on the safe side. As the fourth member of the group, Sylvie often conjures up a trump card from her pocket at the last moment. Together they are known and loved in their little town in the Wuselwald and have already helped many out of a jam. When they have made it together, it is proven again: "With courage everything will be fine!". With Becca's gang every day becomes an adventure.

Soaring
Flying to infinity, Becca is still 7 flight tests away. Becca is actually preparing for the flight test level two, but to surprise her mommy, she wants to skip all the intermediate levels and dare to go straight to level nine. Becca is very brave and is sure: "Hey, I can do it all". She trains with the gang and makes herself fit for the flight over the big cloudy mountain until she is done. What starts out like a nice high-altitude flight quickly turns into a rapid nosedive. Harry Hahn reports live on site, the whole Wuselwald listens as Becca plunges into the depths. The gang's jumping mat tears at the last second, but luckily the pilot Mommy also hears about the turbulence on the radio.

Socke quickly invents an uncle from the South Seas who also likes to receive guests. Now the children would rather go to the South Seas with their socks on - ideally immediately! The sock is under pressure.

The little raven sock steals toys from his friends. It simulates illnesses so that you don't have to help. He spits into the pasta sauce when he thinks he's getting too little, and he's great at making excuses. Is that what you want as a friend? Absolutely! This cheeky bird with the striped sock has its heart in the right place. No matter what he eats up, he finds ways to correct his mistakes and never lets his friends down. His thirst for adventure is infectious, his zest for life is sweeping and his ideas are unbeatable. The cheeky little raven sometimes takes himself quite seriously, but also notices when he has gone too far and harms others. Adapting is not the thing for Socke to apologize for mishaps - that makes the book and cinema heroes a role model. The setting for the twelve-minute episodes is the forest, a huge adventure playground for Socke and his friends with plenty of space to try things out and playfully measure your strength.

Chipmunk
Episode 24
Documentary series Germany, 2014/2020

Producer: Text + Bild Medienproduktion GmbH on behalf of BR
Screenplay: Ben Wolter

Chipmunk
It couldn't be cuter! Animal reporter Anna can watch the wild goings-on and the acrobatic performances of chipmunks for hours. And to do this, she doesn't even have to fly to Asia in their homeland. The cute rodents can also be admired at home. Because although they are actually wild animals, chipmunks are suitable as pets. In addition, Anna visits Gerhard and his chipmunk gang. It’s a bit haywire. The ten-week-old youngsters vigorously explore their sandbox and the great running bike. And what smells so delicious in this egg packaging? Gnaw quickly. The tame male Luki uses Anna as a climbing frame. The reporter learns from Gerhard how to keep the chaotic croissants under control and what else you need to know about them.

Not only in the wild, but also in our home there are exciting animals that are extremely important for most children as they grow up: their pets. Therefore, in addition to the wild animals, there is now the line extension "Anna and the pets". A pet lives behind every third door in Germany. Over 31 million dogs, cats, mice and birds are friends, partners, comforters, playmates or cuddly toys. Not every animal is suitable for cuddling and playing. "Anna and the Pets" wants to make you want to live together with the animal, but also to develop a sense of responsibility.

On the way they make their first acquaintance with warthogs, which the locals also call "Radio Africa". The pigs stretch their tails vertically while they run. It looks like an antenna from an old radio. When setting up the tent, OLI is not really helpful, but at least he thought of ear plugs. Because at night the animals always make a lot of noise. So OLI and Davina sleep really well in their tent and don't even notice what happens at night. When they wake up, the campsite is devastated and they are practically in the open. The culprit is quickly found: a warthog! And that's so affectionate that it doesn't leave Davina and OLI any more. How are you supposed to count antelopes? And how do you get rid of the pig?

Because Odie pleads with him to read him a fairy tale, Garfield sets out to invent one. Of course, the fairy tale features an incredibly good-looking, cheap tomcat and a seldom stupid dog. There is also the young Prince Jon, who has to find a bride quickly if he wants to become King instead of the nasty, greedy Viceroy Wipple. He plans to raise taxes on almost everything in the event of his rule. But Prince Jon's search for a bride is not very successful. It already looks like the nasty viceroy is going to be the new king. But when he announced that he would levy a tax on eating pasta, tomato sauce and anything that contains cheese, the brilliant cat decides to step in and find a bride for Prince Jon ...

Lieselotte is looking for a treasure
Episode 28 of 52

Producer: WunderWerk GmbH, Fabrique d'Images, ZDF, ZDF Enterprises
Script: Martin Lickleder, Claudia Kaiser, Lisa Clodt, Martin Lickleder, Claudia Kaiser, Lisa Clodt, Claudia Kaiser, Martin Lickleder, Lisa Clodt
Music: Leonhard Schwarz

Lieselotte is looking for a treasure
The cow Lieselotte discovers a somewhat strange treasure map and immediately goes on a treasure hunt. Even the normally sleepy farm dog comes along. And that in scorching heat. The treasure map leads the cow and her friends to the farmer's vegetable patch, of all places. However, it is strictly forbidden for the animals to enter the bed. But with the treasure in mind, the cow generously disregards the ban.

Lieselotte is a cow. A post cow to be precise. And she is very proud of that. But Lieselotte is not just a stagecoach. She is also a cow that goes on a treasure hunt, that hides, ambushes the others and frightens them, in short, a cow that does not exist a second time. In any case, Lieselotte is not a "stupid cow", even if she is often a little awkward. Clear! Such a cow without hands, with only four hooves, that climbs trees, jumps on a trampoline, that can only go wrong. In addition, there is Lieselotte's childish naivete. She thinks a lot, yes she does, but doesn't think about the possible consequences. As soon as Lieselotte has an idea, she throws herself into an adventure, without assessing the possible risks, and it's done. She sits on the tree and can't come down, stuck in the self-dug hole, ... Lieselotte behaves like a small child, like our target group, and thus offers enormous potential for identification. Based on the book series "Lieselotte" by Alexander Steffensmeier

The carriage check
The Discovery Show Germany, 2013/2020

Director: Judith Issig
Producer: megaherz film und fernsehen GmbH, BR
Music: Dieter Holesch, Chris Gall
Camera: Hans-Florian Hopfner

The carriage check
Carriages and horse-drawn carts have been the most important means of transportation for thousands of years. This time Julian checks that carriage driving is still a lot of fun today. Ever since people have kept horses, they have been using them as work horses and draft horses, for example when working in the fields. When there were no cars and trains, people used carriages to travel, shop, and simply have fun. During this time the stagecoaches were extremely important. And that's why the checker is relocating his checkerback to an old stagecoach this time. Of course, Julian also learns to drive a carriage himself. That's why he's with Conny, the driver. She rode her horse Trakki in driving competitions and competes with other coachmen in three different disciplines: dressage, obstacle and cross-country driving. Julian checks with Conny how to harness a horse to the carriage, how to use the ropes and how to steer a carriage. The checker also meets Claus and his four Haflinger stallions. Claus drives a so-called quadriga: a Roman racing car in front of which four horses are harnessed side by side. The ancient Romans used it to drive chariot races. Back then it was as spectacular as Formula 1 is today! Claus claims he can drive the Quadriga faster than 40 km / h. If that will work?

As "Checker Julian", Julian Janssen discovers, alongside Tobias Krell and Can Mansuroglu, all the topics that are exciting for the audience and that explain the world at the same time: from roller coaster to caves to sea rescue. In keeping with the style of the format, "Checker Julian" is fast-paced, but always understandable, curious and humorous. "Children are great and critical viewers," says Julian Janssen, who has been studying media studies and German in Bayreuth since 2013. He already gained his first journalistic experience as a presenter at university radio and television. "I love everything that has to do with film and I have the most fun when I discover something new. As a checker, I can combine these passions and hopefully give the children some of this joy." From now on, Checker Can and Checker Tobi and Checker Julian will take turns in the episodes that will be broadcast!
