How to lose weight while inline skating

The first rays of sun make you dream of the perfect bikini figure? Great! Dust off your skates and hit the slopes. Fat burning really gets going with inline skating. Whether through the middle of the city or out into the countryside - it doesn't matter, the main thing is that you really get going while skating. Fun sport even offers clear advantages over jogging: It is easy on the joints and ligaments. The buttocks and legs are trained effectively, but without unnecessarily straining the connective tissue. The steady movement, which increases the pulse moderately, allows you to lose weight while inline skating while doing an ideal endurance training. Because a slightly increased pulse is ideal for burning fat.

If you don't start from scratch and already have a bit of routine in skating, you can make the exercises for losing weight on inline skates more interesting, for example with a tennis ball. With so-called "dribbling" you bounce the ball for several seconds on one side and then on the other. For professionals: Dribble crosswise, say with your right hand next to the left skate and vice versa. Those who like to run in pairs should, however, practice walking in the shade. The man in front sets the speed and direction changes, while the second follows him like a shadow.

Lose weight through inline skating and proper nutrition

Recreational athletes generally do not need a different diet than non-athletes. Everyone should make sure in their daily diet that the proportion of vegetables and grains is higher than the proportion of meat and other animal products. Healthy foods and recipes should be integrated into everyday life. Otherwise, inline skating can only contribute a small part to losing weight.

However, one rule applies to recreational athletes in particular: You don't train well on a full stomach! Immediately after each meal, the digestive organs are supplied with more blood, muscles are no longer adequately supplied with oxygen and are less efficient. Ideally, the last main meal should be three hours before you step on the inline skates. Only then will you train your buttocks and legs effectively and have lots of fun inline skating to lose weight!

Safety first: helmet and protector are a must

However, if you want to lose weight while inline skating, there is one thing you must not forget: Whether you just roll straight ahead or incorporate exercises while driving: The rapid roll into something more dangerous than for example losing weight with Nordic walking. Helmet, elbow and knee pads are therefore always mandatory, because falls on hard asphalt can end badly. So upholster well, go outside and keep your eyes open.
